Sailing - Week 9
Description: Our sailers will travel to the Champlain Community Sailing Center to experience grand sails in their stable keel boats. And we will stay in the calm shallows of the Waterbury Reservoir where our sailors can take the tiller themselves and learn to sail our own little Sea Snark. Our best learners should be able name the parts of the boat, and be able to and tac and jibe and tie some basic knots. Campers should bring: water bottle, a lunch with 2 snacks (we don\'t do warm-ups), sunscreen, hat, bathing suit & towel, rain gear, extra layers of clothing, sneakers, water shoes. All items should be clearly labeled with your camper’s name. Meet at the Stowe Elementary School for Drop off 8:00-9:00am and pick up 4:00-5:00pm.
